Ed Carswell, responsible for managing one of the largest projects McCrossin Foundations has undertaken, brings an extensive amount of experience to the company and we are very excited he joined our team in the Summer of 2017. On a normal day, Ed can be found out at Scudder Falls Bridge, managing all aspects of the job and using his past experience to make it a successful project.
After receiving his BS in Civil Engineering from Drexel University in June 2011, Ed gained experience in engineering, project and construction management on design-build projects across North America, including projects in Virginia, Chicago, Omaha, Canada, and Texas. One of his most notable accomplishments thus far has been the successful installation of Phase 2 foundations for the Dulles Silverline Project without any major quality or safety incidents. Ed is a great example of the safety culture we strive to have at McCrossin Foundations as his main goal is ensuring his crews make it home safely each and every day.
When Ed is not out on site at Scudder Falls, he enjoys sports, fishing, hunting, and spending time with his wife, Christin, and daughter, Felicity. One item on Ed’s bucket list is to own a boat or a beach house.
With his outgoing personality and passion, Ed adds to the success of the company by managing and leading high-quality projects while making sure everyone gets to go home to their families each and every day.
