Martin McDermott, P.G. is proud to serve as McCrossin Foundations’ Northeast Regional Manager, a role he has prepared for his entire career as a Philadelphia native with degrees from both LaSalle and Drexel.
His knowledge of the region and his reputation with local industry professionals is slated to serve McCrossin favorably as their operations expand into the Northeastern territories. McDermott has successfully worked in the Northeast market for more than 30 years, having amassed an impressive roster of high-profile projects during that time, such as the SEPTA Elevated Rail Stations Replacement project in West Philadelphia and the expansion of the Philadelphia Convention Center. Immediately following the terrorist attacks on 9-11, he helped in the design and construction of an emergency ferry platform in the Hudson River just west of Battery Park and the World Trade Center. Recently, McCrossin Foundations was awarded the SEPTA Lansdale Parking Garage foundation project by E.R. Stuebner; the project has 92 drilled shaft foundations in close proximity to active railroad lines.
