Raritan–Millstone Water Treatment Plant

McCrossin was contracted to install a total of 2,511 wall feet of steel sheeting varying from 10’ to 35’, which was the main component of all floodwall construction on this project. Where ground conditions revealed rock, we were required to install a combi wall consisting of 700 wall feet of flood wall constructed with alternating sheet piles and 24” pipe piles drilled and grouted into 12’ of the rock.

In addition to sheeting, McCrossin will also install 109 each 24” diameter x 25’ deep drilled shafts for a retrofit of the existing North Flood wall. For maintenance of the treatment plant, we will finish the project by installed 18” pipe pile to be utilized as barge anchors for maintenance of the treatment lagoons.
