    Project Description

    The 4-mile long 55-A1 portion of the Southern Beltway consists of 3 mainline bridges and 1 overpass structure. The Beltway will take Interstate-576 and connect US-22 to I-79. McCrossin was subcontracted to drive over 400 bridge abutment piles for the construction of the new bridges. The 12 inch h-piles ranged in lengths from 35 to 75 feet long and were driven to absolute refusal.
