Before joining McCrossin Foundations, Steven began his career by working for Kiewit Construction on a multitude of complex projects in both the United States and Canada. In 2016 Steven brought his hardwork and determination to McCrossin Foundations as a Project Manager where his attention to detail and ever positive attitude have and will continue to serve him well. Steven has had the opportunity to spend time on the sales side of construction – a skill that has already served him well thus far as he has been instrumental in discovering new relationships and project opportunities in new territories for McCrossin Foundations.
Steven’s favorite project was installing shoring for the Stephen Foster Memorial project at the University Pittsburgh which is fitting since Steven graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010 with a BS in Civil and Environmental Engineering with a focus on Construction Management. Pa. This project at his alma mater was his favorite because of the challenge it presented. Installing 1,100 square feet of temporary shoring in a postage stamp size job site of just 20 feet by 40 feet was challenging but rewarding once it was finished.
Outside of the office, Steven lives in the North Shore of Pittsburgh, PA with his wife, Caity and son, Harvey. He enjoys golfing, woodworking, and working on his home. Steven is halfway through checking his bucket list item of attending all four golf majors after attending the 2016 US Open at Oakmont and the 2018 Masters.
